Centrifugal pump is a power supply of drilling mud flow for many pieces of equipment. They transfer drilling mud from tank to equipment or from tank to tank. The pumps are almost driven by a motor. The mechanically sealed pump provides longer service life and stable performance. We select pumps according to the whole mud system flow rate, and/or the treating capacity of the equipment. Bulk, basically they are all decided by mud system flow rate or drilling depth. Different pumps holding different input and output ports. For example, APSB6X5 means 5'' output and 6'' inlet. Furthermore, the flow rate of the pump performs various under different motor power. Such as 100HP motor and 75HP motor both can be fit on APS8X6 pump, but the flow rate between them is different.

As we said just now, according to mud system flow rate or the equipment capacity. Pumps will be specified with a certain flow rate tested by water when they were finished in the factory. When the mixing hopper requests 140m³/h compounding capacity we can select pump holding capacity 160-170m³/h. As we know pump flow rate is related to many factors, including head/lift, pressure, motor power. So before your confirmation on a pump, please inquire professional person for proper use
One set of the trip pump, one set desander pump, one set desilter pump, two sets of mixing pump, two sets of charging pump, one shearing pump. So we suggest 8 sets of pumps for the normal system.
