APYZ series slurry pump is one kind of centrifugal pump. Here the slurry pump is submersible type. It's vertical type. Compared to normal centridfugal pump used in drilling fluids process, the slurry pump is compact occupies little space. And the material of APYZ submersible slurry pump is more anti-abrasive.For oil drilling fluids system, they are used to transfer drilling mud from desilter tank to the centrifuges as feeding pump of centrifuges.
The submersible slurry pump can be also used in the mud recycling system for HDD or other civil construction need mud system. Then the slurry pump is used to deliver drilling mud into the shale shaker as it's different with the oilfield mud system. For diferent use and location, the submersible depth can be adjusted accordingly.
There are different demand from various clients. However, the popular pumps including the AP50YZ50-30, AP80YZ80-30, and AP100YZ100-30. The difference including treating capacity, the motor power, the submerged depth. They are widely used in oilfield mud process and HDD mud recycling system.
Firstly, we need to check the centrifuge flow rate or treating capacity in oilfield mud sytstem. Usually we fit APYZ slurry pump driven by 10hp motor for a high speed centrifuge APGLW355X1258. For the HDD mud recycling system, the slurry pump can be selected according to the shaker capacity. And then confirm the power of pump. The depth of such pump is very flexible. Even there is a pit deeps 3m, we can add an extended pipe on the pump inlet port.
Yes. There are many different model of submersible slurry pump. Including the AP50YZ20-18, AP50YZ25-12, AP65YZ50-12, and so on. Clients can select the pumps according to the practical working condition. Furthermore, if clients prefer the low price items, the material will be different with common raw material. Including the pump body and the pump impeller.
The slurry pump can be the horizontal type. That means the material is more durable and anti-abrasive than common centrifugal pump but the installation way is the horizontal type. Service life and the function will be same as the submersible slurry pump.
